Reflexology Lymphatic drainage
This is an adapted method of reflexology to help alleviate the symptoms of lymphoedema. It aims to stimulate the function of the lymphatic system and drain excess lymph from the damaged area.
It can also be applied to people with auto immune disorders such as
Chronic fatigue
Fibromyalgia
Eczema
Irritable bowel syndrome
Crohns
Arthritis

Adapted reflexology for cancer/palliative care
I am qualified to adapt reflexology treatments for people with cancer and who are also undergoing treatment for cancer. I have worked extensively at a local hospital where I have given reflexology to cancer patients whilst having chemotherapy or at varying stages of their treatment. I do a lot of work with clients who suffer from peripheral neuropathy ( a side effect from receiving chemotherapy) as it can help alleviate the symptoms.
I am fully qualified and insured to work with people with cancer so you can relax knowing you are in safe hands.

Advanced facial reflexology
I have recently trained in advanced facial reflexology with Ziggie Bergman from the London School of Reflexology. This a lovely relaxing treatment. As well as working the various reflexology points on the face it also includes a gentle facial massage.
As well as the benefits you may get from reflexology performed on the feet it may also assist with
Relaxing the facial muscles
Increases blood flow to the face creating a radiant glow
May help with facial paralysis and stroke recovery

Indian head massage
Indian head massage is a technique used to massage the head, shoulders, face, neck and upper back. I can also add a massage to the arms and hands if requested.
A treatment may help with
Tension headaches
Eye strain
Sinus problems
Scalp circulation
Tension in the neck, shoulders and upper back.
Traditional Indian head massage is performed upright on a chair
Reiki
Reiki is a simple hands on/or hands off healing technique used to balance the mind, body and spirit. It is a way of releasing blocked energy during times of stress or illness.
Unlike many treatments no pressure is used on any part of the body.

Hypnotherapy
I am also a fully qualified hypnotherapist. I use this mainly as a way to offer a deep state of relaxation. This is usually for people who struggle to relax and switch off. Some people have a little hypnotherapy before a reflexology session if they are not used to having a treatment as it helps them reach a complete state of relaxation
